2023 Buick Enclave

Aptly named, the 2023 Buick Enclave, Buick’s entry into the midsize luxury SUV space, stands out as one of the most distinct inhabitants of the space. Handsome styling and value-oriented packaging, Buick toes the line between “premium” and flat-out luxury with the Enclave to rival the likes of the Infiniti QX80 and the Jeep Grand Cherokee L simultaneously. Minimal changes for the 2023 model year are limited to one new exterior color (Moonstone Gray Metallic) and an updated wheel packaged in with the Sport Touring package. With seating for up to 7, the Enclave’s interior space is as roomy as it is practical.

Practical Performance

Every Buick Enclave comes with a 3.6L V6 engine mated to Buicks polished 9-speed transmission, good for 310 hp, and a maximum towing capacity of 5000 pounds when properly equipped. While not equipped to set a drag strip on fire, the Enclave goes 0-60 in 6.5 seconds- more than enough to get you up to highway speed without causing a panic. Softened suspension allows the Enclave to drive as a smooth, compact SUV, if not as athletic as it’s pricier European counterparts; while not designed for days on the track, it was designed to keep your days on track.

Electronic Precision Shift. Rather than a conventional mechanical shift lever, this electronic system uses electric push/pull buttons, which not only amplify the Enclave’s technology quotient, but also free up space under the console.
